The search is on for three suspects following a robbery that led to a shooting at a Western North Carolina home. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported break-in at a home in the Leicester community, Friday afternoon.
When deputies arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then transported to Mission Hospital in Asheville.
The Sheriff’s Office says three guns and marijuana were recovered from the home. The man who lived at the home, 20 year old Jonathan Tanner Boyd is charged with felony intent to distribute marijuana.
