ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Asheville Police Department said it is investigating a homicide that took place early Friday morning. According to the police department, officers were called to the Hillcrest apartment complex around 2:24 a.m. for a report of a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers found 31-year-old Denzel McKnight.
