HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – A student at West Henderson High School was transported to the hospital after a fight.
At 3:05 p.m., the West Henderson High School Resource Officer reported an incident involving two students. One of the individuals sustained a stab wound during the altercation, according to the Henderson County Public School System.
The student was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other individual was taken into custody by the school’s resource officer.
The Henderson County Public School System said there is no ongoing threat to the school or to the public.
