UNC Asheville’s Rocky the Bulldog getting bobblehead from National Bobblehead museum

UNC Asheville’s mascot, Rocky the Bulldogs, is getting a bobblehead.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum will be producing the first Rocky the Bulldog bobblehead as part of a back-to-school collection, and will be available for purchase from the museum’s website starting with its release Friday.

The bobbleheads are limited to 2,024 and will be numbered individually.

“We’re excited to unveil the first UNC Asheville Rocky Bobblehead in conjunction with the start of the new school year,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “This bobblehead will be the perfect way for UNC Asheville fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff to show off their school pride!”

The bulldog has been UNC Asheville’s mascot since the 1930s.
