Blue Ridge Energy ramps up efforts, reducing outages from 63,000 to 11,683

LENIOR, N.C. (WLOS) – Blue Ridge Energy said their crews are progressing as they continue 24/7 power restoration efforts in a release on Sunday, Oct. 6. The release said outages are down to 11,683 as of Sunday, 10 a.m., after a high of 63,000 when Hurricane Helene left behind catastrophic damage on Sept. 26 throughout the Western North Carolina region.
