Lake Norman HS hosting concert to benefit Helene victims

LAKE NORMAN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS NOW) — Lake Norman High School is hosting a concert on Sunday that will benefit victims of Hurricane Helene.

Queen City News Now spoke with the band’s director, who’s originally from the Asheville area, to talk about the concert.

Donations will be accepted in the form of money, clothing, and hygiene kits. The music was posted online so anyone who plays an instrument from around the state will be able to come in the band. There are expected to be 150 musicians in the concert that starts at 3 p.m.
