HENDERSONVILLE—Santa Claus will be on hand Friday, Nov. 29, for the City of Hendersonville’s 2024 tree lighting at the Historic Courthouse Plaza.
Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. accompanied by sounds of the holidays from the music of the Peggy Ratusz & Friends Band.
Santa will arrive in his sleigh around 5:45 p.m. and lead a countdown to light the tree at 6 p.m.
Other attractions at the event: Meet Santa; enjoy hot cocoa, hot cider and treats from Black Bear Coffee and Raspberry Fields; and take free horse and carriage rides offered by Carolina Horse and Carriage until 8 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Henderson County Tourism Development Authority.
