Sunday afternoon brought in steady and heavy snow showers. Our evening will see the air above us begin to warm up and this will allow for snow to transition to freezing rain. This will not help with our deteriorating road conditions, creating hazardous travel conditions into the overnight. Combined with southern winds increasing and gusting between 20-30 mph, this will spell problems concerning scattered power outages. Temps will continue to warm up above freezing, causing our freezing rain to transition to cold, scattered showers. The only exception to this will be the high country across Greenbrier and Pocahontas counties.
