ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — As contractors continue to aid in Hurricane Helene recovery, News 13 is taking a look back at one local company that helped restore water to the Asheville area.
Wendell Howard, the owner of T&K Utilities, has deep roots in Western North Carolina. He grew up in the area and started T&K Utilities 30 years ago in Fairview. Helene was a part of his story he never saw coming.
The “T” in T&K is for Taylor, Wendell’s son, who also helps run the business.
