McDowell County — Melissa Bowman Raines, 53, of Nebo, was charged by the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team with
felony possession of methamphetamine and criminal possession
of a controlled substance on jail property. A $25,000 secured bail was issued to her. Raines was taken from another law enforcement agency to the McDowell County Detention Center on January 30.
