CHIMNEY ROCK, WLOS (N.C.) — One nonprofit group born out of Hurricane Florence is taking charge of the rebuild in Chimney Rock, and leaders said they are leaning on their faith to finish the work.
Shane Zoccole is the founder and director of Spokes of Hope.
“Spokes of Hope is this, if you look at the hub, Jesus is the center we’re all the spokes where the rubber meets the road and makes life a little easier for people,” Zoccole said.
Chimney Rock’s Main Street is still quiet, but if you look closer you’ll see plenty of work being done. A volunteer group is rebuilding from floor to ceiling, and it just calls itself a ministry…
