Spirit Airlines is shaking off its “low-cost carrier” reputation with a significant expansion of its service offerings. Starting May 8, the airline will introduce four weekly flights from North Carolina to Baltimore (BWI) and Detroit (DTW), with additional flights to Indianapolis (IND), Los Angeles (LAX), Nashville (BNA), and Philadelphia (PHL) launching soon after.
This expansion follows the airline’s exit from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, marking a new chapter with a broader lineup of destinations.
