BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WLOS) — The Black Mountain Police Department (BMPD) is warning locals of a scam offering a free roof inspection.
According to a post on the BMPD’s Facebook page, the BBM Scam Tracker frequently receives reports of scams involving free roof inspections, especially after severe weather events.
