IRS moves North Carolina tax deadline to September

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WITN) – For the second time, the Internal Revenue Service is moving the deadline to file your federal return this year.

The normal tax deadline is April 15th, but because of Hurricane Helene, the IRS pushed that to May 1st.

Now, the IRS says it has been delayed again to September 25th…
