HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — An eight-year-old girl and her grandmother were killed in a collision on Jonathan Creek Road in Haywood County on Monday evening, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP).
Sgt. Aaron Ammons with NCSHP confirmed to News 13 that the incident occurred at 5:12 p.m. on Monday, April 21.
