ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The City of Asheville is now in the initial stages of planning to rebuild the park system along the French Broad River, nearly seven months after the parks were destroyed by Hurricane Helene.
According to a news release, the city posted a Request for Qualifications for design services to rebuild the parks system along the French Broad River. But the completion of these project is still years away, the city said.
