The 2025 Volvo V90 has opened my eyes to the coveted wagon life. In the past, I didn’t understand the appeal of a wagon, but I think my life has been changed. It’s comfortable, spacious, well-balanced, and more. Only two features hold it back.

I spent a week with the 2025 Volvo V90 , getting to know it the right way, with road trips and errands! I traveled between Rock Hill, SC, and Asheville, NC to develop a sense of the wagon lifestyle.
During that time I only discovered two things that could use improvements.
- The Volvo V90 has slightly dated tech. While it’s easy to use, the 9.0-inch touchscreen seems a bit small and could benefit from a better resolution. The 360-degree camera view might have you squinting. Also, the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster feels basic.
- Rivals have more storage space for personal items. There is a noticeable lack of storage trays, shelves, and cubbies. However, cargo space is excellent overall.
Now here’s the good stuff!
