WNC Catholics express hope, trust as cardinals begin conclave to elect next pope

HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Catholics across the world, including many in Western North Carolina, are waiting and watching for the conclave to choose its next pope.

The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hendersonville held a special mass Wednesday evening, praying for all 133 cardinals tasked with picking the next pope.
