HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – A Greenwood man was arrested on Tuesday after deputies recovered stolen vehicles from multiple states.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said deputies began investigating 57-year-old Sammy Clayton Weaghington in 2024, after he purchased a trailer using a closed bank account. Warrants were issued for Weaghington, but he fled the area before officials could locate him.
