ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Animal Haven of Asheville celebrated a quarter-century of saving lives on Saturday, May 31, with a special public event.
Since opening its doors 25 years ago in East Asheville, the farm animal sanctuary has cared for a wide range of animals, including cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and geese.
On Saturday, guests were treated to a special dedication and farm blessing. They also had the opportunity to meet the sanctuary’s 75 animal residents.
