CHIMNEY ROCK, N.C. — Gov. Josh Stein was on hand in western North Carolina, 9 months to the day after Helene devastated the region, to sign the latest round of funding relief for residents Friday afternoon. Chimney Rock State Park was also reopened.
Stein thanked both sides of the aisle in the General Assembly for making the crucial funding available.
