Hendersonville city councilwoman Hensley announces bid to run for mayor

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A local chiropractor who has served on the Hendersonville City Council for the past five years announced she is ready for another role in the city of Hendersonville.

On July 9, City Councilwoman Jennifer Hensley, who currently serves as Hendersonville’s Mayor Pro Tempore, announced she will be running for mayor in 2026.

“For more than two decades, I’ve had the honor of serving this remarkable community through my private medical practice and public service,” Hensley said in a press release. “Now, I am ready to lead Hendersonville into its next chapter as your next Mayor.”…
