ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville residents are being urged to prepare for a stretch of active summer weather, including strong thunderstorms, high winds and potential flash flooding through the weekend.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg said Friday morning that isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening, with damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall as the primary hazards.
