Western North Carolina family to receive new home after Helene

SALUDA, N.C. — A family of four in western North Carolina is counting the days to move into a new home after Helene left the Swannanoa house they lived in unlivable.

The International Disaster Emergency Service is building the family a house in Saluda on family property at no cost.
