One convicted in 2022 killing of Asheville man

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – A man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being found guilty of shooting and killing a 21-year-old sitting in his car.

According to the Buncombe County District Attorney’s Office, a jury convicted Kevion Martese Edgerton, 26, of first degree murder for the fatal shooting of Keith Anthony Mosley II. Following the verdict, Edgerton was sentence to life in prison without parole.

In May 2022, officers with the Asheville Police Department were called to Atikinson Street in Asheville for a reported shooting. At the scene they found Mosley in the front seat of his car with multiple gunshot wounds. He later died of his injuries…
