Weaverville — (WLOS) Nobody wants to be THAT class, but someone has to do it. Really, you don’t have a choice. It’s simply a matter of accepting and embracing it. Many times a promising future is on the horizon, but it’s far enough away that current and soon-to-be seniors will never relish in the rewards on their hard work.
North Buncombe is preparing for year four under David Hines, and while the road has been a rocky one he believes all of the efforts put in will soon smooth it out.
“I think if you look at what we’ve had over the last three years, our senior classes have done a pretty good job of laying the foundation,” Hines praised. “Yes, they’ve taken a few bumps and bruises for what we’re looking at now. We’re very young, but we’re more experienced because of being young. That’s going to help us in regards to how these guys are going to be under the lights.”…
