FLETCHER, N.C. (WLOS) — The North Carolina Mountain State Fair is just over a month away, and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has announced six new entertainment acts, in a news release, that will make their debut.
The Mountain State Fair is back for its 31st year and will run from September 5 to 14 at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher.
The new entertainment is as follows:
- The Red Trouser Show- A fan favorite of the North Carolina State Fair is joining the Mountain State Fair. The energetic and acrobatic duo, David Graham and Tobin Renwick, pair and balance on each other’s heads and add in juggling tricks and other acrobatic surprises.
- First Bite Fishing – This newcomer will offer hands-on fishing experiences to fairgoers.
- Pompeyo’s Amazing Dogs Show- As seen on America’s Got Talent, the Pompeyo family and their rescue dogs put on an incredible family show full of energy and tricks.
- Wild Bill’s Speedway – Fairgoers will get the opportunity to cheer on the fastest little piggies in the mountains. High-speed hogs and hilarious commentary combine to bring big laughs and squealin’ fun for the whole family.
- Polka Dot Entertainment – A balloon installation will be located in the back of the Davis Building, along with an acrobatics show with stilt walking, juggling, and more.
- Returning entertainment favorites include Magician TJ Hill, the Mooturnity, and Ward Leon Jacobs on the Piano.
