On a waterfall workshop in Brevard, North Carolina, we ventured out in the dark of the night in order to light paint the falls. At Silver Falls, we tried multiple colors – blue, purple and, of course, basic light painting. Each was a unique way to see a waterfall. I took this image using an ISO of 8000 and a six-second shutter speed on a tripod.
After retiring as a public school superintendent, I became free to pursue my love of travel and sharing the wonder of the world through my photographs.
