ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer is sending a letter to UNC Asheville Chancellor Dr. Kimberly van Noort asking for transparency in the school’s controversial campus expansion project.
The letter was approved as part of the consent agenda in Tuesday’s city council meeting, where council members heard from residents who shared their appreciation for the proposed letter.
