National Gingerbread Competition returns to Grove Park Inn after being canceled by Helene

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Grove Park Inn and Spa is welcoming back a fan-favorite holidy tradition after it was canceled last year due to Hurricane Helene: The National Gingerbread Competition.

According to Grove Park Inn and Spa’s website, this year’s event’s required entry form is due on Nov. 10. Listed below are the other important dates for the competition:

  • Nov. 10: Required entry form due – pieces do not have to be final at this stage. Changes can be made until your registration day on Nov. 15 or Nov. 16. The entry form can be found at this link.
  • Nov. 15: Competition Registration Day for Child and Youth Divisions – all Gingerbread entries for child and youth competitors must be completed and brought to The Omni Grove Park Inn and Spa for in-person registration. See Official Rules for entry registration times. Required Entry Description Summary forms are due at time of registration.
  • Nov. 16: Competition Registration Day for Teen and Adult Divisions – all Gingerbread entries for Teen and Adult divisions must be completed and brought to The Omni Grove Park Inn and Spa for in-person registration. See Official Rules for entry registration times. Required Entry Description Summary forms due at time of registration.
