HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – The North Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation after a body was found on Interstate 40 last week.
According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, On Friday, August 29 at 7:15 a.m., the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office and NC Highway Patrol responded to a body found on the side of road on I-40. Troopers say the body was found near Exit 31, off the shoulder in Canton.
The man was identified as 32-year-old David Brown. NCHP noted Brown suffered a head injury…
