2.1 magnitude earthquake hits wooded area in Western North Carolina, reports show

ROSMAN, N.C. (WBTV) – An earthquake was reported Wednesday evening in Transylvania County located in Western North Carolina.

According to the United States Geological Service, a 2.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
