LEICESTER, N.C. (WLOS) — A vacant mobile home in Leicester that was reportedly set to be demolished on Sept. 10 was demolished a day earlier by fire, according to the Leicester Fire Department.
At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 9, Leicester Fire Department received a call for a possible structure fire along North Turkey Creek Road. When crews arrived on the scene, they found the fire to be at a single-wide mobile home that was actually on Turtledove Nest Lane, which is off North Turkey Creek Road.
