HENDERSONVILLE – Two Hendersonville hospitals are in the running to receive the go-ahead from the state to buy a set of heart care equipment.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services’ 2025 State Medical Facilities Plan found that there was a need in Henderson County for one unit of cardiac catheterization equipment, according to a Sept. 10 news release. The state will allow one of those hospitals to acquire it so that the county meets that quota.
Henderson County Hospital Corporation, the parent company of Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital, and Fletcher Hospital Inc, the owner of AdventHealth Hendersonville, have both applied for certificates of need to be the medical facility chosen to buy that equipment…
