ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Dry high pressure will hold over Western North Carolina through Monday, but a developing coastal low could bring midweek showers before conditions clear again late in the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Cloud cover is expected to increase overnight into Monday morning, with isolated showers possible over the mountains by the afternoon. Areas northeast of Interstate 26 may see slightly cooler temperatures Monday because of the cloud cover.
