‘Armed and dangerous’: Reward offered for suspect in Asheville shooting

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — A reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of a suspect connected to a deadly shooting that occurred in Asheville in late July.

According to the Asheville Police Department, 36-year-old Iken Michtreal Wallace is wanted for first degree murder in the death of Denzel McKnight, who was shot to death on July 24.

Officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound at the Hillcrest Apartments on Atkinson Street before 2:30 a.m. Police located McKnight, who was taken to Mission Hospital where he later died…
