ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Highland Brewing will host a series of free community events from Thursday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 28 to mark the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene in Asheville, bringing together residents to honor recovery efforts and celebrate the city’s resilience.
The four-day commemoration begins Thursday with “Heroes of Helene: Honoring Recovery & Resilience Together,” a community gathering hosted by the Asheville Chamber, Explore Asheville and Highland Brewing in partnership with the city of Asheville and Buncombe County.
