Marshall’s town hall faces demolition after severe flood damage from Helene

MARSHALL, N.C. (WLOS) — Marshall’s town hall is likely headed for demolition after it sustained major damage during Helene, leaving town leaders weighing their next steps for a permanent home.

Town Administrator Ryan Cody said the town hall on South Main Street suffered “pretty significant and impactful structural damage” when floodwaters swept through downtown last September.
