This fall, Public Works will be collecting bagged leaves, or loose leaves placed in trash cans, from residential areas. The bagged leaves should be placed in brown compostable yard waste bags (preferred). Regular garbage bags are also acceptable. Residents should ensure no debris are included within the bagged or canned leaves. Residents must call the Public Works Department at 828-419-9300, option 4, to request a pickup, or click this link to submit a pickup request form. Please do not rake leaves to the curb.
