ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — An American flag that flew outside the Buncombe County Detention Facility and was recovered after Helene is now on display as a reminder of the community’s resilience.
Sheriff Quentin Miller said one of his deputies found the flag outside after the storm.
