Asheville plans workshop for Neighborhood Matching Grants program

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The city of Asheville will host a workshop later this month to help residents develop and fund community improvement projects through its Neighborhood Matching Grants program.

The session is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the My Daddy Taught Me That facility at 3 Hunt Hill Place. Registration information is available here.

The Neighborhood Matching Grants program offers up to $5,000 in matching funds for projects proposed by registered neighborhood organizations within Asheville city limits.
