Man accused of brandishing firearm at Biltmore Estate apprehended by police

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A man who brandished a firearm at Biltmore Estate over the weekend was taken into custody without incident.

According to an Oct. 28 statement from the Biltmore Estate, the incident happened at 8:46 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26.

At that time, “an individual displayed a firearm upon reaching the estate’s first security gate. Biltmore Company Police quickly apprehended the suspect without incident, and he was then transported off the property by the Asheville Police Department,” the statement said. ” We are extremely grateful to our security and police teams for their immediate response.”…
