ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville police remembered an officer who died in the line of duty 12 years ago.
Senior Police Officer Robert “Rob” Bingaman was killed on Oct. 29, 2013, after his patrol car ran off the Captain Jeff Bowen Bridge. He died at the scene.
