Students raise $75K to support Habitat for Humanity’s community-building efforts

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Local high school students are rebuilding habitat homes for the seventh year in a row.

Five schools in Asheville are coming together to raise funds and volunteer to build a house with Asheville’s Habitat for Humanity.

The students raised $55,000, which will be paired with another $20,000 from State Farm to build a house in Habitat’s “New Heights” neighborhood…
