Asheville Residents: Donate Food at Local Community Centers to Support Neighbors in Need

In Asheville, local Parks & Recreation Community Centers are now food drop-off sites. This change follows a recent lapse in SNAP benefits. Residents can donate non-perishable food items during the centers’ open hours. Hours vary by location and day.

Some centers are open as late as 9 p.m. Donations support local food pantries and distribution agencies. All city drop-off locations will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, for Veterans Day.
