ASHEVILLE, NC. (WLOS) — More than a year after Hurricane Helene, volunteers continue to pour in to help western North Carolina recover.
On Wednesday, Nov. 5, over 100 volunteers with Truist came to help revitalize ABCCM’s Transformation Village, a transitional housing shelter in Asheville. The shelter holds up to 100 beds for unhoused women, mothers with children and veterans.
Travis Rhodes, Truist’s regional president for North Carolina West, said this is part of their post-Helene commitment to provide 10,000 service hours over the next three years in the region…
