New Food Distribution Site Opening in Black Mountain to Support Residents Affected by SNAP Reductions

The Town of Black Mountain, North Carolina, is working with Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry to open a new food distribution site. This action responds to reduced SNAP benefits. Starting November 11, 2025, volunteers will collect non-perishable food donations each morning except Sundays at the Black Mountain Public Services Building.
