A pre-K teacher at Flat Rock Elementary School has been charged with assaulting two students in an incident that has prompted an ongoing investigation by the Surry County Sheriff’s Office.
Anesia Gaye Bridges, 55, of Virginia, faces two counts of assault on a child under 12, according to the sheriff’s office. She voluntarily turned herself in Thursday and was released on $2,000 secured bond, the sheriff’s office said in a written statement released Monday afternoon.
