ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Ahead of Veterans Day on Tuesday, Tanger Outlets Asheville partnered with the Western North Carolina Veterans Collaborative to host a veterans information fair.
The event, held on Saturday, Nov. 8, brought together more than 20 veteran-focused organizations from across the region. These organizations offered mentorship, employment opportunities and community resources for veterans, active-duty service members and their families.
“For this, we’re down to do it twice a year, said AJ Inman, a veteran and one of the organizers. “We’re going to do another one on Memorial Day. And just for veterans out there, I know it’s really hard, and the hardest part is just taking that step to finding help. Just reach out and you will find other veterans somewhere.”…
