Man wanted for animal cruelty arrested in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — A man wanted for animal cruelty was arrested in Asheville on Wednesday.

According to the Asheville Police Department, while working in the area of Deaverview Road around 3:31 p.m., officers met Tequan Altorez Vance, who had an open warrant for animal cruelty.

While arresting him, police said they found 5.56 grams of crack cocaine, 27.04 grams of powder cocaine and a 9 mm handgun on Vance’s person…
